It still is amazing to see God work in my life, taking my "normal" day to day life. And in the past year and a half, turning it upside down, and now that is my normal day to day. Its easy to assume that everything will go how its supposed to go ,that God will bless you if your following him. But as I have found so far in life, God blessing us ,is different then how we see "blessings".
One verse that spoke to me through everything was Isaiah 41:9-10:
I took you from the ends of the earth,
from its farthest corners I called you.
I said, ‘You are my servant’;
I have chosen you and have not rejected you.
10 So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
I'm am sure I will never know why everything happens in our lives ,but I have been learning that is what builds faith ,and trust. We should trust God no matter what, but we all know that we don't the way we should. He is perfect ,all knowing ,and powerful. And he has given us no reason not to trust him ,yet in our selfish heart we like control and want to have it all figured out.
Psalm 84:12
LORD Almighty, blessed is the one who trusts in you.
Its not easy ,but we know it is possible. He is love and everything he does and allows has a purpose!
